Gtechniq was founded in 2001 by quantum physicist Drew Gill. The reason was his complete dissatisfaction with the performance of the paint protection products available at the time.

From waxes and new polymers to PTFE-based miracle treatments, no product on the market offered truly convincing durability in either appearance or protection. Even more disappointing was his finding that many products actually performed worse than the paint finishes they were supposed to protect.

GTECHNIQ has its own in-house research and development department and laboratory, where premium products for both the automotive and cycling worlds are developed and tested.
